I organized a media event for Donate Life Northwest that led to four TV news features and a followup by Inside Edition, highlighting a heartwarming story about organ donation and encouraging others to register as organ donors.


In 2018, I am working with the Oregon Conservation Partnership to elevate stories from land trusts, conservation districts, and watershed councils that showcase voluntary conservation projects and the significant benefits these projects provide for local communities. The article on the left was first published in the Medford Mail Tribune, but was picked up by the Associated Press and published in 25 more newspapers throughout the U.S.


I secured more than 30 articles, editorials, and op-eds throughout the Northwest for a client lobbying Congress to reauthorize the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), a federal program investing in parks and other public lands. My efforts helped turned all four Northwest senators into champions for the program. The article featured on the left was published on the front page of the Daily Astorian on September 3, 2014.

Pacific Rivers works to advance federal and state laws and policies that protect clean water and healthy rivers in the Northwest. As a consultant and later on staff, I helped Pacific Rivers elevate their message via traditional and digital media -- including a new website and national press on priority issues.
